Motorola wireless products are designed and manufactured not to exceed well-recognized safety standards for
exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a
unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. SAR is measured using sophisticated
equipment and measuring techniques. Scientific panels, government agencies, public health authorities
and standards bodies agree on this important point: there is no evidence that products that meet the
SAR limits established by RF exposure standards pose a hazard to users or the public.
To obtain the SAR exposure information for Motorola products, please select one of the following ID
numbers below.
Model Number
The Model Number can be found on the outside of the wireless
product box you have purchased.
Example: The Model Number for the Timeport P8160 cellular
phone is P8160.
Equipment Authorization ID Number
The equipment authorization ID number is always displayed on a
label on the wireless phone. This label is located underneath the battery.
The number will also be displayed on the product box.
